About Me!
Who Am I?
My name is Jami Bishop and I am a mom! I have two sons, Cole (3) and Wyatt (1). They keep me busy and on my toes all the time. I have also been married to my husband, Scott, for almost 5 years now. I am an avid reader, love to travel, and am slowly learning how to knit. I enjoy spending time outside, swimming, going to the creek, and playing with my kids. I grew up in a small, rural community close-by, so Conway feels just like home. During the fall and winter months, you may see me wearing a lot of red and gold supporting the Kansas City Chiefs! |
Am I Qualified?
I graduated from Skyline in Urbana, MO in 2004. I then went to Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. It was still Southwest Missouri State University when I started! I got my degree in Psychology with minors in both Criminology and Education. I couldn't decide if I wanted to work in the prison system or an elementary! I followed my Undergraduate degree with my Master's in School Counseling (K-8) and have been a school counselor since. I have worked in two school districts, but I'm hoping Ezard Elementary is my forever school!

Why Counseling?
I love kids. I want to do everything in my power to give all kids the chance to succeed! I have the rare opportunity of getting to interact with every student in our building from the time they start Kindergarten until they move up to the Junior High. I get to go to work every day and see kids meeting goals, achieving their dreams, and becoming the future leaders of their communities. Plus, I get welcomed by smiling faces and excitement over breakfast pizza, who wouldn't want that?!
